Wild Collective Mountain Sports Festival goes into the second round

Be it the film premiere of Michi Wohlleben's red point ascent of Bodhicitta, the multimedia lecture by Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher, the numerous workshops or the exchange between like-minded people: there are many reasons why you should attend the Wild Collective Mountain Sports Festival on March 1st and 2nd should not be missed in Herisau. And with a bit of luck you can win two festival passes here.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, visitors are offered an entertainment program consisting of mountain films and multi-media lectures with professional climbers, paraglider pilots and adventurers.

Gripping mountain films and multimedia lectures are on the program on both festival evenings.

Workshops

Workshops on a wide range of mountain and outdoor topics are offered throughout the day on Saturday. You can choose from ice bathing, first aid on the mountain, micro-adventure, survival training or visualization & flow.

The aim is for elementary topics to be taught at an understandable level so that everyone can take something away. A festival with a bar and catering as well as an exhibitor area round off the offer.

We want to bring together the different communities around mountain sports and offer them added value.

Alpine flohmi

Sometimes an alpine flea market also takes place at the festival. The idea for the “Alpin-Flohmi”, a flea market where mountain equipment is sold, comes from the organization Mountain Wilderness, which is committed to preserving wild mountain areas in Switzerland. All kinds of hiking and mountain sports items can be sold as long as they are still in good condition and functional.
