Video: Alex Megos climbs Tuareg Blanco (9b/+)

At the beginning of the year, Alexander Megos made the first free ascent of the 9b/+ rated sport climbing route Tuareg Blanco in Margalef. This video shows his ascent.

The route Tuareg Blanco was set up around 10 years ago by Adrien Boulon, but there was no great rush for the route. Only a handful of motivated climbers attempted the heavily overhanging and finger-heavy route, including the Spanish climber Ramon Julian seriously planned.

At the beginning of the year, Alex Megos the ascent of the route and suggested 9b/+ as the difficulty level.

I hope Tuareg Blanco gets the attention it deserves in the future. It is a unique line with unique movements.
