At the fourth bouldering competition of the season in Tokyo, the Swiss Petra Klingler won the 6. Space. The winner was the Russian Aleksei Rubtsov and the Slovenian Janja Garbanet. Although the Japanese won no gold medal in front of the home crowd, they won four medals for the 3 and 4 ranks in the women's and men's categories.
