Video about Dani Arnold's inspection of Power Shrimps at the Helmcken Falls

It finally worked out on the third attempt: Dani Arnold opened the Route Power Shrimps in February of this year in the world-famous Helmcken Falls in British Columbia, Canada (LACRUX reported). A movie about the ascent is now online.

For an ice climber, the Helmcken Falls in British Columbia is like a wonderland. Millions of different icicles hang in this hole on the walls and centrally in the middle is a huge waterfall. Dani Arnold traveled to Canada three times to set up and climb the Route Power Shrimps. In the following video, Dani Arnold tells the story behind the route.

“Setting up is very hard work and took two days. I had to chop the way clear, somehow make a temporary security, then tighten the drill, drill the hole and hit the hook. ”- Dani Arnold
