The Misoxperience Outdoor Festival in Graubünden is entering the next round. From May 4th to 12th, 2024, friends, families and fans of canoeing, bouldering and paragliding will meet in the idyllic Misox.
The Misoxperience Festival warmly invites the outdoor community to the Misox Valley and offers a unique platform for shared outdoor sports and exchanges about past and future seasons. In addition to organized competitions, Misoxperience also enables personal development through workshops and courses.

Bouldering, canoeing and paragliding
The Misoxperience Outdoor Festival is taking place for the fourth time this year. There will be competitions, workshops and courses in three sports from May 4th to 12th, 2024
bouldering
Not yet well known in the bouldering scene, there are still many exciting bouldering problems hidden in the Misox region. Between the steep mountain sides of the Mesolcina and in the side valley of the Calancasca River, numerous exciting blocks of difficulty level 8a have been developed in recent years.
There are a variety of cleaned boulders from 3a to 7c in the immediate vicinity of our festival site, which are also documented in the Bimano app.
“In addition to the bouldering program on the rock, coordinated with the help of the Bimano app, this year we will once again set up a modular covered bouldering area on the festival site, in which we will hold workshops, bouldering challenges and small competitions,” reveal the organizers.
«Petzl provides us with crash pads for bouldering on rock, and with Scarpa, La Sportiva and Butora we also have three climbing shoe manufacturers that enable visitors to try out a variety of shoe models, be it on rock or on indoor plastic holds. »
Canoe
The Misox region is absolutely predestined for canoeing. The Moesa River flows from San Bernardino to Bellinzona, where it flows into the Ticino. In between there is easy and calm white water up to
challenging rapids of all levels of difficulty.
The Moesa is also impressive in terms of landscape: river branches and renatured river sections between green gravel banks invite you to discover and linger. Canoeists have been coming to Misox for generations to benefit from these unique conditions.
paraglider
The sky is the limit! True to this motto, this year we are also conquering the skies above the Misox. Thanks to its various launch sites and easily accessible mountain areas, it is the perfect region for paragliding. When the weather is right, the sky is colored with the colors of the numerous pilots' gliders.
Santa Maria in Calanca is one of the most visited airfields for the Southern Alpine flight schools due to the often favorable weather conditions. Whether hike & fly, acro or cross-country flight - if you don't have a head for heights, you'll get your money's worth here at Misox!

The MisoXperience offering is not just aimed at sports enthusiasts - residents of the region, family, friends and curious people are also warmly invited to stop by and take part.
There is the opportunity to start competitions, workshops and tours directly from the festival site. Families and our youngest guests should not be left out either.
The festival location is chosen so that all elements are close to each other. The camping, catering area and commercial infrastructure are also located in the same location.
