Michaela Kiersch clears tanks in Hueco

Michaela Kiersch is currently in Hueco Tanks and, as usual, is not letting anything go to waste. During her trip to the Texas bouldering mecca, the 29-year-old American has already repeated two 8B boulders and a good handful of 8A and 8A+ lines.

The American professional climber Michaela Kiersch is one of the best in the world on ropes and bouldering. She usually returns home from her climbing trips with impressive ticklists. This time is no different. In Hueco tanks She is currently climbing one difficult boulder after another.

The two 8A boulders, El Techo de Los Tres B and Power of Landjäger, took her just an hour and 20 minutes respectively. She had already tried both lines a few years ago. The next day of their trip included Rumble in the Jungle (8A+) and The Thrilla in Manila (8B).

Michaela Kiersch climbed Diaphanous Sea (8A) and Chblanke (8A) at the beginning of her trip as a kind of check-up to evaluate her training progress. “During a long training cycle, it’s nice to see whether functional strength has increased,” says the 29-year-old.

Your ticklist points to a clear yes, especially since a few more test pieces from the area have been added in the last few days with Barefoot on Sacred ground (8A+), the Fred Nicole line The Full Monty (8A+) and Nagual (8B).
