New climbing hall in the city of Biel: Grip climbing

A little more than a week ago, a new climbing and bouldering hall opened its doors: Grip Climbing. 660 square meters of climbing space and 80 boulders spread over 290 square meters await visitors.

The Rennweg in Biel is so far mainly known for the urban theater. Since May 15, 2020, the street has been enriched by an attraction. Ambitious climbers can train on the plastic in the hall grip climbing. 950 square meters of climbing space, divided into a bouldering and climbing area, an outside wall and a bistro are available to visitors.

Replica rock routes from the Jura

As a special feature, grip climbing regularly screws routes on the covered outer wall that correspond to a rock route from the Jura region. If you want to test whether you have grown the route on the rock, you can test your skills beforehand in the climbing hall.
