The legendary bouldering competition Melloblocco stops in Lugano / Cresciano

For once, the 15th edition of the world-famous Melloblocco bouldering event will not take place in Val di Mello and Val Masino, but this year it will be moving to Switzerland's sun room. A group of committed Ticino climbers (MBB Street Boulder Lugano) have offered the organizers of Melloblocco to hold the event in Ticino. The Melloblocco team accepted the offer. The event will take place from May 3rd to 6th 2018 in Cresciano and Lugano.

It has long been rumored that this year's Boulder Festival Melloblocco may take place in Switzerland. Now the rumor has been followed by an official announcement. Probably the biggest bouldering competition in the world will stop at the beginning of May in one of the most famous bouldering areas in the world: Cresciano.

Event for everyone

The bouldering event Melloblocco is not a typical competition. Much more is about working together with one another in a complex series of hands, the cozy being together in nature. It is a colorful mix of professionals, amateurs, beginners and families.
