El Gran Bellanco (8c+/9a) was Adam Ondra's hardest onsight ascent of 2023. The strong Czech only knew the Spanish area of ​​Montanejo from hearsay. However, this shouldn't stop him from putting on a strong performance with the support of the local community.

“The day was exciting and crazy,” remembers Adam Ondra. «It started with a fairly long and tiring journey, during which I arrived at the rock late and tired, but the infectious spirit of the local climbers made me climb very well and complete this incredible route.»
