On October 28, 2025, the Italian climbing team of Moroni and Vidi achieved a free ascent of the "Pre-Muir Wall" on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley. Camilla Moroni thus became the first Italian woman to achieve a free ascent on El Capitan.
