The competition weekend, which was characterized by changing weather, rain and moisture, ended with the IFSC World Cup in Villars with two exciting lead finals. The representatives of Team USA, Sean Bailey and Colin Duffy, took two podium places in the men (1st and 3rd place).

While the women's podium was even, three Japanese took the podium for the men. Austria took fourth place with Nicolai Uznik. Neither Switzerland nor Germany were represented in the final.
