Chris Sharma's Kingline Esplendor Geometrico (8a+) really challenged Jakob Schubert and Jan Hojer on their first visit. In the latest Malle vlog you can see how they were able to decipher the extremely aesthetic line on their second attempt.
When attempting to repeat the DWS route Esplendor Geometrico Ground-up, Jakob Schubert & Friends managed some long descents. However, they were unable to achieve success on the tricky roof route.
Of course, they didn't want to let this happen. On their second visit to Sharma's Kingline, they first checked the crux at a height of 15 meters from the rope and then climbed back in.
Also on the menu for Jakob Schubert, Jan Hojer and Michael Piccolruaz was Jernej Kruder's line Salty Beverage (8b+) in Cala Su Nau. You can find out how the trio fared on this line in Vlog #3.
