Fast, faster, smooth-hard Wahli

In November 2023, Simon Wahli and Yannick Glatthard set an incredible speed record on Salbitschijen: they climbed the west, south and east ridges in 5 hours and 53 minutes. How does something like that work? See for yourself.

With their commitment to the three Salbit-Have ridges in under six hours Simon Wahli and Yannick Glatthard the limits of what was previously thought possible last November were literally blown up. Anyone who has ever climbed one of these ridges on Salbitschijen knows what those 5 hours and 53 minutes mean. The powerful duo recently released a video of their new speed record.

Rätikon: Babsi Zangerl & Jacopo Larcher repeat “Déjà” (8c+) – the hardest multi-pitch ascent by a woman

With their free ascent of "Déjà" on the south face of the Kirchlispitzen, the Austrian woman and the Italian man have completed their hardest project to date in the Rätikon. It is the first time the line has ever been repeated – and probably the first time a woman has climbed a multi-pitch route graded 8c+.
