Siebe Vanhee is a seasoned big wall climber and has dedicated his life to climbing for the last 20 years. Despite all his successes, something seemed to be missing in his life. The Walls we face tells how the Belgian tried to fill this gap and what experiences he had in the process.
Siebe Vanhee is used to achieving his goals. He graduated with a degree in social work but followed his passion and became a professional big wall climber. As an athlete, he mastered the art of balance, but he felt it was lacking in his own life; he wanted to give something back.
It was during this search that Siebe found out about Escalando Fronteras, a Mexican NGO that uses rock climbing as a way to support at-risk youth. And now, after years of dreaming together, Siebe is returning to Monterrey to team up with local climber Choco and give him a really cool, intense, unfamiliar experience on a big wall. But the climbing turns out to be more complex than that.
