Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher free climb The Nose on El Capitan

Once again, Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher prove how insanly strong they are in big wall climbing: after just over a week in the Yosemite Valley, the two free climbed the iconic route The Nose on El Capitan.

The climbing couple flew 2018 to Yosemite Valley in California in fall, to climb the world's most famous big-wall tour. The conditions however thwarted the two. The key lengths were often wet and therefore not climbable.

Short process on the second try

On the 12. In November of this year the two returned and climbed into the wall. Eight days later, Babsi announced the free entry of the first key-length, The Great Roof.

Jacopo also scored the length and so the heaviest pitch of the route was still on the program: Changing Corners. The two enjoyed a rest day before climbing at full speed towards the summit.
