David Firnenburg gets the second ascent of Cadafist (9a)

David Firnenburg moved to the south of France, where he was the second 9a route Cadafist could score.

The resident of Zurich David Firnenburg drove together with his girlfriend Andrea Kümin for a few days to southern France. In the climbing area Saint-Léger he succeeded in repeating a route of Gerome Pouvreau, the Cadafist first started in 2017. "Yesterday I sent this beautiful line after a heartbreaking fall from the very top because of a foot slip. Bouldery moves on clean rock with mini tufa pinches, pockets ond crimps. Pumpy when you link them “, David comments on his ascent.

As if David and Andrea drive to the Mollans area, which is known for its many hard and heavily overhanging routes.
