The CISM World Winter Games are currently taking place in Sochi. All members of the Swiss sport climbing delegation, including Benjamin Blaser, Remo Lehmann, Patrick Nacht, Daniel Winkler, Frank Gurtner and Sandro von Känel, reached the semi-finals.

The Military World Games have been held every four years since 1995, following the example of the Olympic Games in summer and since 2010 every four years in winter, by the World Military Sports Federation. In addition to ski tours, cross-country skiing and other typical winter sports, sport climbing is also part of the Military World Games.

As Beni Blaser reports to LACRUX, all Swiss reached the semi-final of the lead qualification. Beni himself is pleased with his personal performance, as he has not been to sport climbing lately. The semi-finals and finals will take place today. Climbing is in Duel mode as on the Arco Rockmaster. We are looking forward to the results of the Swiss guys.
