Nathan Phillips does Never Ending Story in Magic Wood

The Briton Nathan Phillips was together with his girlfriend for a long time in the Swiss bouldering area Magic Wood. On the very last day of his stay he gets the 8b + Boulder Never Ending Story.

Already since the beginning of June, Nathan Phillips and Tara Hayes are in the woods of the Averstal. Nathan started with inspections in the seventh and lower eighth grade of French and devoted his time to an old project that he wanted to do first.

First ascent - which is not

Already on the 3. In June, Nathan announced that he had just started a new 8b line and named it The Vision, But it turned out that the line was once committed by a person who does not want to be publicly named. Well, that's how the first ascent becomes the first repetition of the line.

But the damper with the first ascent did not affect the motivation of Nathan. A week later he succeeded in the celebration of the Magic Wood classic New Base Line (8b +).

Last day, best day

One of the worst things is falling down the last train of a route or boulder. But this is exactly what happened to Nathan Phillips in Never Ending Story on the penultimate day of his stay. On the very last day he boarded the boulder again and fortunately got the 8b + test piece.
