On the last day of climbing at the 2022 European Championships in Munich, Austria's Jakob Schubert won the gold medal in the combined competition format.

The individual disciplines Speed, Bouldering and Lead will be held on the Königsplatz in Munich, as well as the new combination format Boulder & Lead, which will also be climbed at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
