Follow the finals of the Swiss Climbing Cup in the live stream

The finals of the Swiss Climbing Cup on September 16, 2023 can be experienced in the live stream for the first time. David Firnenburg comments on the Elite finals. Anyone who would like to watch the spectacle live can do so free of charge on site at the Griffig Uster climbing hall.

For the first time, the finals of the Swiss Climbing Cup will be broadcast live. On September 16, 2023, women and men will climb for victory in the U18 and Elite categories. The SRF commentator David Firnenburg accompanies the elite finals with exciting background information. As a co-commentator and professional guest, he will once again welcome an athlete.

Last competition before the Swiss Championships

The elite of Swiss climbers are at the start, including World Cup Bern semi-finalist Sascha Lehmann and title defender Andrea Kümin. It will be an exciting head-to-head race in which everyone has the chance to win the title and collect points for qualifying for the Swiss Championship.

The 12 best of the elite and the 15 best of the U18 in the respective overall discipline classification qualify for the Lead Swiss Championship. This will end the season on October 14, 2023 as part of the SAC Swiss Climbing Cup at Grimper.ch in Meyrin-Satigny.

Livestream Finals Swiss Cup
In the SAC Swiss Climbing Cup 2023, the athletes will compete in four competitions and a Swiss championship in all three disciplines: bouldering, lead and speed. Climbing takes place in two age categories: Elite and U18.

National Performance Center

After the Zurich Climbing Championship in Lead on May 13th and the first Swiss SAC Para Climbing Cup in Lead on July 8th, this is the third competition and the second of national importance in the Griffig climbing hall in Uster.

As a sports facility of national importance, the GRIFFIG climbing hall is an important training center for the athletes of the Swiss national team and their young talent.
