31-year-old from Zurich has a fatal accident while climbing in Ticino

A tragic climbing accident has occurred in the popular climbing area of ​​Ponte Brolla. According to the Ticino cantonal police, a 19.30-year-old man from Zurich was reported missing shortly after 31:144 p.m. on Saturday evening. Officers from the cantonal police, the REGA rescue service, XNUMX and the Swiss Alpine Rescue then went to the scene.

During the search, the man's lifeless body was found on a cliff in the area of ​​the Quartz Vein multi-pitch route at around 21.45:31 p.m. According to the police's initial findings, the XNUMX-year-old fell while he was on the way back from a climbing tour with friends.
