British climber Hamish McArthur succeeds in repeating one of the most difficult boulder lines in the world: Megatron (9A).
At least since his participation in the 2024 Olympic final, Hamish McArthur also known to a wider audience. In recent months, the 22-year-old climber has presented lines such as Big Z (8C+) or the flash ascent of Frontside (8A+) proves again and again that he belongs to the top league in bouldering.
I'm a little confused, but it seems like I just climbed Megatron, perhaps the hardest boulder in the world.

With the first repetition of the boulder Megatron in Eldorado Canyon in Colorado, he now joins the list of 9A climbers. The boulder was long tried by climbing greats such as Daniel Woods, Drew Ruana and Shawn Raboutou It was the latter who first climbed the route in 2022.
