The most versatile training tool for climbers | Crimproll

It feels like there are a ton of fingerboards on the market, and yet the different models only differ marginally from one another. With the Crimproll, there is now a fingerboard that boasts an unusual rotating mechanism. We took a closer look at the Crimproll.

What if you could combine a versatile tool for training at home with the simplicity of a portable fingerboard? This is what the passionate Ticino Climber Enzo Scossa-Romano thought of it and went to his workshop.

The physicist not only counts climbing as his passion, but also loves tinkering. In countless hours of drawing, testing, optimizing and expanding, a fingerboard, which is second to none.

The Crimproll is made of high-quality materials such as carbon, stainless steel and European beech wood.

The Crimproll is made from high-quality materials such as carbon, stainless steel and European beech wood. The Crimproll is assembled by hand in the Ticino village of Malvaglia - Swiss Made.

But let’s get to the functionalities. The Crimproll combines a size-adjustable bar with a rotating Chin Up.

Set the bar size on a scale of 0 – 16

You can adjust the size of the Crimproll bar precisely and continuously using the adjustment wheel. Thanks to the scale (1 – 16) you can measure your training progress and improve slowly but steadily. If you set the bar to the maximum, you can train ergonomically on a large bar. If you set the bar to the minimum, you can use Full Crimp on a very small bar to train your Training complete.

Thanks to the rounded shape of the pull-up bar, there are no sharp edges pressing into your fingertips, even in the minimum setting.

Efficient pumping thanks to rotating mechanism

Another special feature of the Crimproll is its rotating mechanism. The Crimproll can be set to rotate freely or rotate with a stop point where the rotation is stopped. If you choose free rotation, you will take your pull-up training to the next level.

When you start to do pull-ups, you have to "fight" against the rotation mechanism in addition to the actual pull-up movement. We bet you won't be able to do your normal number of pull-ups?

Gentle load | Recovery training after injury

If you choose the setting "rotating mechanism with stop point", you have the option of repeatedly contracting the finger flexors with gentle back and forth movements. The pump you get from this is incredible! You can also choose the size of the bar for this back and forth movement.

The gentle rotating movement, which is controlled using the stop point, allows you to gently strain the finger flexor muscles and thus prevent injuries.

Training and warming up at home and on the go

Thanks to its design, you can use the Crimproll at home and on the go. Be it on longer climbing trips or travels or to warm up on the rock. Despite the versatility of the Crimproll, the fingerboard weighs just 700 grams.

This is thanks, among other things, to the use of carbon inside the fingerboard. If you don't want to buy two separate gadgets for training at home and for warming up on the go, the Crimproll is perfect for you.

And believe us: once you've trained with the rotating mechanism, you'll never want to be without it.
