This Frenchman climbs almost unrecognized on top level

If you hear about athletes like Adam Ondra and Chris Sharma from any grip that they can get their hands on, the Frenchman Seb Bouin is more in the background. Compared to his performance, however, he climbs to top level. Now a film portrait of Black Diamond appeared about the top climber from southern France.

In mid-2015, Seb Bouin climbed the classic line Chilam Balam (9b) in Villanueva del Rosario near Malaga, Spain. With that he won the title of “Second Frenchman to get a 9b”. On top of that. Sébastien Bouin from Draguignan was able to tick off a few more tough numbers. Here is a small selection:
