IFSC postpones competitions again

Due to the global corona pandemic, the IFSC is forced to postpone its competitions again.

The International Federation of Sport Climbing IFSC has recently held weekly conferences. A few days ago, the IFSC decided to postpone all competitions that should have taken place before June 30, 2020.

In order for the athletes and competition organizers to prepare for the competition as well as possible, the IFSC has decided to confirm the dates of the competitions at least 60 days in advance. The plan looks like this:

May 1, 2020: Confirmation of all competitions scheduled for July
June 1, 2020: Confirmation of all competitions scheduled for August
July 1, 2020: Confirmation of all competitions scheduled for September
August 1, 2020: Confirmation of all competitions scheduled for October and November

Competition calendar 2021 is being prepared

That communicated about a week ago International Olympic Committee IOC the date of the summer games postponed to the coming year. Based on this date, the IFSC will now prepare the competition calendar for the year 2021, in close cooperation with the IOC and the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee.
