Sasha DiGiulian and Edu Marin repeat Mora Mora

American Sasha DiGiulian and Spaniard Edu Marin repeat one of the world's heaviest multi-pitch rides. The route Mora Mora (12SL, 700m, 8c) is located on the island of Madagascar.

Mora Mora, in English “take it easy”, is a route on the Tsaranoro Atsimo massif in the island state of Madagascar. At least since Adam Ondra's first free ascent of the route in September 2010, the route has been known to a wider audience. The difficulties of the lengths are distributed as follows: 6a +, 6b, 7b, 7b +, 7b +, 7c + / 8a, 8b + / 8c, 6c +, 7a +, 7c +, 7b +, 4. At least that's how Adam Ondra originally stated the difficulties.

First female ascent and repetition by climbing couple

Yes, Sasha DiGiulian and Edu Marin are a few. So much for the Gossip. Now to the facts. The two traveled in July to Madagascar, where they wanted to secure the first repetition of the multi-pitcher tour. Upon their arrival in Madagascar, they realized that their Portaledge was not taking the same itinerary as they did. So, at the beginning of their stay, the two had to travel one and a half hours each day and 400 meters to check out the 8c length.

Successful redpoint ascent after starting difficulties

Maybe the cumbersome approach and the jumar were pure training and the key to success. On the 20. Juli 2017 succeeded in both the free conquest of all lengths. Sasha DiGiulian and Edu Marin are among the first repeaters of the route Mora Mora in Madagascar. Sasha DiGiulian is not one of those women who resist the designation "First Female Ascent". Accordingly, her sponsor RedBull loudly announces that she was the first woman to walk the route freely.
