Ten years ago, Adam Ondra made the first ascent of the third 9b+ route in the world in his hometown of Sloup: Vasil Vasil. The ascent was filmed, but never edited and published. The Czech climbing professional has now made up for this.
In 2013, Adam Ondra in czech Column through the route Vasil Vasil. With his first ascent, the then 20-year-old established only the third 9b+ route in the world. Previously, only La Dura Dura and Change were considered touchstones in this level of difficulty. Although the legendary ascent was captured on video, the film never made it to the public.
