The American Shawn Raboutou is currently the strongest boulderer in the world. After the first ascent of Alphane (9A) in Chironico, he succeeds in repeating Insomniac in Lincoln Lake. The 8C + boulder by Drew Ruana has rejected numerous strong climbers since the first ascent last July.

The test piece of Drew Ruana in Lincoln Lake starts at Wheel of Wolvo/Delirium and runs along an 8-move sequence in the 8b+ area to a good handle. Then it's on to the We Can Build You line with its strength-endurance climbing, again in the 8b+ area. The entire line extends over around 30 trains with a "moment of terror" just before the exit.

It's impressive at what level Shawn Raboutou is currently bouldering. alphanes (9A, FA), Story of 3 Worlds (8C+, FA), Fuck the System (8C+, FA) or Insomniac (8C +) are just some of the high-end ascents of the 24-year-old.
In addition, as the rumor mill is bubbling, the boulder "Megatron Project' in Eldorado Canyon. The Megatron Project is a sit start (8C per se) version of the Boulders Tron (8B+). The overall rating of the boulder is 9A. So it would be the second 9A boulder for Shawn Raboutou. However, Raboutou has not yet officially communicated or confirmed the inspection of the Megatron Project.
