Laura Rogora (19) makes short work of Pure Dreaming (9a)

The 19-year-old Italian Laura Rogora manages the red dot ascent of Pure Dreaming (9a).

The reports of strong young athletes are overturning. Noé Looser climbs 8c at the age of 14, Oriane Bertone bouldering 8c at the age of 15 and now the Italian announces Laura Rogora the red dot ascent of the 9a route Pure Dreaming in Arco.

Pure dreaming is no longer a dream!

Had long Laura not to bite on the route. Laura only invested nine attempts in the route before the climb was successful. Accordingly, she then comments on the exit as follows.

It is time to dream of something bigger.

For Laura it is the tenth route in the area 8c + / 9a. The Pure Dreaming route was set up by Alfredo Webber and for the first time Adam Ondra committed. Another well-known personality got a red dot on the route: Angy pus.

With their free ascent of "Déjà" on the south face of the Kirchlispitzen, the Austrian woman and the Italian man have completed their hardest project to date in the Rätikon. It is the first time the line has ever been repeated – and probably the first time a woman has climbed a multi-pitch route graded 8c+.
