In autumn 2019, the Frenchman Seb Bouin scored the most difficult route in France to date: La Rage d'Adam in the Verdon Gorge. The video now published by Hugo Parmentier shows him planning the route - and how crazy the sequences are.
It is one of the most difficult routes in France, yes in the world: La Rage d'Adam at La Ramirole in the Verdon Gorge was set up by Antonin Rhodes many years ago. In 2015 Sébastien Bouin and Adam Ondra started to work for the first time on the route not yet traveled. Adam Ondra couldn't even climb the key point back then and said:
Sébastien did not give up. He returned to the route over and over again. But even he was denied the red point ascent for a long time. It was not until autumn 2019 that he managed to climb through and thus the first free ascent of the tour.
Hugo Parmentier planning the route
by Hugo Parmentier planned the route La Rage d'Adam in summer 2020 and shows in the following images how crazy the sequences of the route are. Great crusades Egyptian moves, knee Klemmer and much more has to be mastered on the route. See for yourself.
Incidentally, Hugo Parmentier was denied the red point ascent of La Rage d'Adam. And this despite the fact that he invested 25 days in planning the tour. Although doubts arose again and again and he fell countless times in certain places, he is convinced that the climb through will work.
