One might think that the video with the Box Jump of the Canadian Sean McColl is a fake. But it is not. Rather, it is incredibly impressive, with which explosive power of the Canadians soaring.

Box jumps are a popular component of training for athletes, because they train explosive power, coordination and leg strength. If you look at the boulder problems at the competitions, then it becomes clear why these skills are needed more and more.

122 cm from the stand

Sean McColl seems to be training the box jumps pretty intensively. In the video, he jumps from a standing position to a box that is 122 cm high. This corresponds to 72% of his body size.
