Video: Adam Ondra on the biggest challenge of his career

The decision to take part in the Olympic Games presented Adam Ondra with the greatest challenge of his life. In this video (part 1 of 4) Adam Ondra gives personal and extremely interesting insights into the time before the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Sport climbing made its debut on the Summer Olympics in the year 2021. For the athletes it meant almost completely foregoing rock climbing for a long time and concentrating fully on the intensive preparations for THE competition.

And so it turned out Adam Ondra the question: "How much hardship can I cope with to take on the challenge of the Olympics?"

I've won a lot of competitions. And it doesn't make a huge difference to me whether you win three, four or five world championships. But the Olympics, with a debut in sport climbing, was a huge source of motivation!
