Lungern climbing area closed

The popular Lungern climbing garden in Central Switzerland is closed until further notice. The reason for the closure is blasting work.

The climbing area Lungern, with its long and endurance-heavy routes, is one of the most popular climbing destinations in the region. Vertical to slightly overhanging climbing on ledges and hangers are typical for the area, which also scores with an extremely short approach time: it takes 15 seconds from the road to the foot of the wall.

The climbing garden is closed for at least one year.

Due to blasting work in the area, the climbing garden is closed for at least a year, as the Kletterführer-Verlag Filidor communicates.
