Stefan Glowacz on media change and pressure in climbing | Video interview

In an interview, the German professional mountaineer and extreme climber Stefan Glowacz talks about the influence of social media on climbing professionals and the choice of their projects, about massive changes in communication behavior and about protagonists who, once convicted of lying, disappear from the scene.

Stefan Glowacz As the frontman of a new generation of climbers, he has experienced the most important phases in the development of modern climbing. In an interview, the 58-year-old explains how he experienced these “golden times” and how media change and increasing professionalization influence the lives of today's climbing professionals.
