Anna Hazlett, better known as Anna Hazelnutt, has been an integral part of the international climbing scene since 2021 at the latest. Back then, she repeated the trad classic Once Upon a Time (E9, 6c) at Dyers Lookout and shortly thereafter secured the first female ascent of the extremely demanding route Walk of Life (E9, 6c).

Today, Hazelnutt, who specializes in trad and sport climbing routes on straight walls and slabs, is one of the best. In 2023, she repeated Principle hope (E9/10, 8b/+) at the Brush plate, one of the most difficult trad lines Europe has to offer.
